How the recovery vault works
What Recovery Vault Does
The Recovery Vault provides a secure, time-locked storage mechanism for assets that need protection during account recovery scenarios. Assets deposited into the vault are locked for a configurable period, ensuring they cannot be moved until the lock duration expires or recovery conditions are met.
How Assets Are Locked
- Assets are deposited with a minimum lock period defined at creation
- Lock duration can range from 24 hours to 365 days depending on configuration
- Withdrawals are only permitted after the unlock date has elapsed
- All deposits and withdrawals are recorded for audit purposes
Unlock Conditions
- Standard unlock after the configured lock period has elapsed
- Once unlocked, assets can be withdrawn to the registered owner address
- All unlock attempts are logged for audit and compliance purposes
